Assumptions & Conventions
- Layout model
- Grid uses equal spacing in both directions; row uses in-row spacing × between-row gap. Choose the one that matches your planting.
- Geometric count
- Plants = floor(area ÷ area per plant); it does not add a buffer for losses — round up and add your own.
- Spacing source
- Use the spacing from your seed packet or plant tag; there is no universal spacing.
