Calculation
- Gross: 18,000 × $1.85 = $33,300
- Net: $33,300 − $12,000 = $21,300
- Profit/lb: $21,300 ÷ 18,000 = $1.183/lb
Profit per pound: $1.18
Halibut trip
$4.50/lb dock; $9,500 costs; 7,200 lb
Calculation
- Gross: 7,200 × $4.50 = $32,400
- Net: $32,400 − $9,500 = $22,900
- Profit/lb: $22,900 ÷ 7,200 = $3.181/lb
