Assumptions & Conventions
- Overage
- Overage is added to both sides of each dimension (default 4″ per side) for quilting take-up and trimming.
- Pre-cut sizes
- The common batting sizes listed are typical product dimensions that vary by manufacturer; confirm the actual package size before buying.
- Roll batting
- Batting off a roll is sold by the linear yard at the roll width you enter; no universal roll width is assumed.
