Assumptions & Conventions
- Markup percentage basis
- The "Markup percentage" is calculated as profit ÷ cost × 100 — a markup on cost, not a profit margin (which would be profit ÷ revenue × 100).
- Loss handling
- When revenue is below cost, the result is shown as a loss with a negative total and percentage.
